Roy Zimmerman Benefit Performance on Saturday, January 12, 2019

Time to Rize Up on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at the Roy Zimmerman KPFZ Benefit Concert at the Lower Lake Schoolhouse Museum!

RiZe Up is Roy’s tenth album release as a solo artist. It’s a funny and forceful expression of resistance in the age of Trump. “Satire empowers people,” says Roy. “To laugh is to fight back. To hope is to fight back.”  Roy co-writes these songs with his wife, Melanie Harby. Melanie is a three-time West Coast bluegrass guitar champion.

The concert will be held in the Weaver Auditorium at the Lower Lake Schoolhouse Museum, 16435 Main Street, Lower Lake.  The performance starts at 7:00 p.m.  Opening for Roy is KPFZ's own Herb Gura and Without a Net.  Without a Net will also be accompanying Roy on some of his songs.

Tickets are $22 for KPFZ members and $25 for the general public.  Tickets are available at Catfish Coffee at14624 Lakeshore Drive in Clearlake, Watershed Books at 305 N. Main Street in Lakeport, and at the KPFZ Studio.   Seating is limited so advanced ticket purchases are encouraged.  Tickets, if available, may be purchased at the door.  Please note, this show usually sells out.  Light refreshments and beverages will be available for purchase.
