Change is in the Air

Change is in the air! Or should it be, Change is on the air!

Either way you say it, the KPFZ program schedule is going through some changes.

First off, a HUGE THANK YOU to Tim Hoff. Tim Hoff, most recently programmer for “Eclectic Echoes” and “Easy Rollin'”, has left the building. We thank him for his many years with KPFZ and all that he did. Tim filled many roles at the station during his tenure here. We wish him well in any future endeavors.

On Friday mornings, a repeat of “Pagan World Views”, hosted by Willowoak, Macha, and Verge, will be airing from 5:00 to 7:00 a.m.

A brand new show is making its debut on Friday night at 11:00 p.m. Peter Tibbets is hosting “The Wicked Good Show” until 3:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. If you’re a night owl, Peter’s name may sound familiar. That’s because Peter has filled in as host on Verge’s show Up All Night, heard every Tuesday night.

“Rockin’ the Lake” will repeat after Peter’s show from 3:00 to 5:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. Q and Deb will keep you rockin’ on!

Saturday morning officially kicks off with a repeat of Debbie Bielenberg’s show, the “Savings and Trust” starting at 5 a.m.

Folkscene is rejoining the station with the original show airing on Saturday evenings from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. It will be rebroadcast on Monday mornings from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m.

Station Manager Andy Weiss says, “Things will be a bit chaotic for a while – just to drive Judy Bond, KPFZ Facebook Editor, nuts!”. Stay tuned!
